The Virginia Healthcare Emergency Management Program (VHEMP) is excited to host the 2025 Virginia Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Summit on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. This Summit offers a unique opportunity for stakeholders from across the Commonwealth to come together and hear valuable insights, lessons learned, and best practices from a diverse group of speakers and panelists under the theme "Today’s Challenges, Tomorrow’s Impact." A key highlight this year will be a special session featuring Ballad Health, where they will share their response to Hurricane Helene. The event will take place at The Westin Hotel in Richmond, VA. SVHC members with a signed letter of support or MOU on file may be eligible for reimbursement for mileage, lodging, and per diem after the event (please note, registration fees are not reimbursable). Eligible individuals will receive email instructions on the reimbursement process and timelines following the event. For Hospital Emergency Managers within the region, The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association (VHHA) will host the Hospital Emergency Managers Forum on Tuesday, April 15th, in person at 12:00 pm at the VHHA Offices located at 4200 Innslake Drive, Suite 203, Richmond, VA 23060.

- Up to 5.0 American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Qualifying Education Hours
- Up to 5.0 American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM) Qualifying Education Hours
